Giuseppe Amadio
Giuseppe Amadio was born in 1944 in Todi, where he lives and works.
He attended technical and artistic schools of design and advertising graphics, working in the field of posters on an industrial scale.
He alternates his work as a painter with that of a designer in the interior design sector.
For over twenty years he collaborated with the artist Piero Dorazio. His works have a conceptual language through the production of monochrome everted canvases.
Amadio’s work is one of the most fascinating contemporary visual languages, with great visual impact, capable of organising unusual dimensional, compositional, chromatic and spatial solutions.
There is an inventive and cognitive continuity running through his work, with an aesthetic research that embraces feeling and reason, emotion and rationality.
His success has led him to exhibit around the world: Milan, Miami, London, Berlin and New York. In 2022 he will participate in the Venice Biennale.
